Read ArticleImplants are designed to match the colour, shape, and translucency of your natural teeth. Once placed, they are virtually indistinguishable — even to your dentist. Unlike removable dentures, there are no visible clasps or adhesives, giving you a completely natural smile.
- Custom-crafted crown matched to your surrounding teeth
- No metal clips or visible hardware
- Restores your natural facial profile and jawline shape
Unlike bridges or dentures that may need replacing every 5–10 years, a well-maintained dental implant can last 20 years or more — often a lifetime. The titanium post fuses directly with your jawbone through osseointegration, making it the most durable replacement available.
- Titanium post integrates permanently with jawbone
- Does not shift, slip, or require re-fitting over time
- Up to 20-year structural warranty at Greenfield Dental
When a tooth is lost, the jawbone beneath it begins to deteriorate from lack of stimulation. This bone loss can alter your facial structure over time. Implants are the only replacement that actively stimulates bone growth, preserving your jaw density and facial shape for years to come.
- Prevents bone resorption caused by missing teeth
- Maintains natural face contour and prevents premature aging
- Supports adjacent teeth — no shifting or tilting
Dental implants restore up to 90% of natural bite force, allowing you to eat whatever you enjoy — no dietary restrictions, no discomfort, no embarrassing slipping. Speech problems caused by missing teeth or ill-fitting dentures are immediately resolved.
- Full chewing power — enjoy any food you love
- No slipping or clicking sounds when speaking
- Boosts self-esteem and social confidence significantly
Traditional dental bridges require grinding down adjacent healthy teeth to support the restoration. Implants are completely self-supporting — your surrounding teeth are left completely untouched and intact, protecting your long-term oral health significantly.
- No cutting or reshaping of healthy neighbouring teeth
- Prevents adjacent teeth from drifting into the gap
- Easier to clean than bridges — floss normally
There are no special cleaning routines, adhesives, or overnight soaking required. Simply brush and floss as you would your natural teeth. Implants do not develop cavities, though maintaining healthy gums through regular brushing and dental check-ups remains essential.
- Brush and floss normally — no special products needed
- No adhesive pastes or removal at night
- Routine hygiene appointments keep them in top condition

Everything about getting dental implants in Vietnam at
Greenfield Dental Hanoi — from your dental situation to the right treatment.
If a tooth is cracked beyond repair, extraction is usually the best course of action. Once removed, a dental implant is the most natural and long-lasting replacement — it preserves the jawbone, prevents neighbouring teeth from drifting, and restores full bite function. In many cases at Greenfield Dental Hanoi, we can extract the tooth and place the implant in the same visit.
It's rarely too late. However, a missing tooth causes gradual bone loss in the jaw over time. If significant bone loss has occurred, a bone graft may be needed before implant placement. Our team performs a 3D CBCT scan to assess your bone density and will advise whether grafting is required. Most patients who have been missing teeth for years are still excellent candidates for dental implants in Vietnam.
The right plan depends on how many teeth are missing and where. Options include individual implants for each gap, implant-supported bridges, or All-on-4 / All-on-6 if most teeth in one arch are missing. We always design the most efficient plan — using the fewest implants needed while achieving the best functional and aesthetic result.
Heavily decayed teeth requiring repeated root canals often cost more in the long run — and still fail. If a tooth has less than a 50% chance of long-term survival, replacement with an implant is usually the more predictable and cost-effective choice. We will always give you an honest assessment before recommending extraction.
Active gum disease must be treated before implant placement. Untreated periodontitis significantly increases the risk of implant failure. At Greenfield Dental, we treat the gum disease first with deep cleaning and periodontal therapy. Once your gums are healthy and stable, implants can be placed safely. Don't let gum disease stop you — with proper treatment sequencing, most periodontitis patients become good implant candidates.
All-on-4 or All-on-6 is the gold standard for full arch tooth loss. Using just 4 or 6 implants, we anchor a complete fixed bridge — giving you a full set of stable, natural-looking teeth. Unlike removable dentures, these do not slip, click, or require adhesives. Temporary teeth are placed the same day as surgery in most cases.
Thin or insufficient bone does not automatically disqualify you from implants. Solutions include bone grafting, sinus lift procedures (for the upper jaw), or implant systems designed for limited bone. A 3D CBCT scan at Greenfield Dental will show us your exact bone volume — often where other clinics have said no, we find a solution.
Yes. Failed implants can be removed, the area allowed to heal, and a new implant placed — often with a bone graft. We first identify and correct the cause of failure (infection, poor positioning, bone loss, or bite issues) before re-treatment. Greenfield Dental has experience in implant rescue and revision cases. Send us your X-rays and photos so we can review before your visit.
